This Privacy Policy explains what information ThinkyPuzzle (“we”, “us”) collects when you use thinkypuzzle.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. By using the site you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

• Account details — the username and password you choose when you create an account.
• Gameplay data — your puzzle results, scores, solve times, and your following/followers list, so we can show your history, leaderboard, and friends' activity.
• Recovery email (optional) — only if you choose to add one.
• Basic analytics — we use Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics to understand aggregate usage. This may set cookies and collect standard technical data such as device type and approximate region.

How we use your recovery email

Your recovery email is stored solely to:

• send you a verification link to confirm the address, and
• send you a password-reset link if you forget your password.

We do not use your recovery email for marketing, newsletters, advertising, profiling, or any other purpose, and we do not sell, rent, or share it with third parties for their own use. It is never shown to other players.

Service providers

We rely on a few processors to run the service. They handle data only on our behalf:

• Google Firebase — authentication and database (account, gameplay data, and recovery email storage).
• Microsoft Azure — hosts the small backend service that sends recovery and password-reset emails.
• Email delivery (SMTP) — used only to deliver verification and password-reset messages.
• Google Analytics / Tag Manager — aggregate usage analytics.

Data retention

We keep your account and gameplay data for as long as your account exists. You can remove your recovery email at any time, or ask us to delete your account and associated data (see “Your rights” below).

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA/CPRA) you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights — including deleting your recovery email or your whole account — email us at the address below and we'll action it.

Children

ThinkyPuzzle is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
